Your dining service is managed by Chartwells Dining Service. The Chartwells staff, food service comittee(made up of students), and the college administration have worked closely in developing a variety of nutritious and flexible meal plan options.

Types of Meal Plans

All Meal Plan This value plan is ideal for the student who is active in one or more student activities on a daily basis. This full service plan will provide approximately 190 meals per term, 19 meals per week, and $51.00 in Flex Dollars per term.

130 Meal Plan A plan designed for the student who will require approximately 2 meals per day. This plan includes flexibility of $98.00 in Flex Dollars per term.

70 Meal Plan For maximum flexibility, this plan carries $185.00 in Flex Dollars per term. This plan will allow a student approximately 6 meals per week. It is perfect for the student who is student-teaching or living off campus.

A Word on Flex Dollars

Flex Dollars are additional purchasing power given to the resident diner on a per term basis, based on the resident dining program that is chosen. Flex Dollars work like a prepaid credit card. When you purchase food or drink at The Cage or Kaufman Hall, the register will deduct the amount from the balance in your account. Supplemental Flex Dollars may be added to your account in $25 increments at the business office located in Old Main. Please note that if you terminate your on-campus residence, your balance of Flex Dollars associated with the meal plan will be forfeited. Any additional monies you put on your account will remain until August 1st of that year.

Dining Facility Policies

Certain policies and procedures must be follwed to maintain a cost-effective and efficient dining program. We invite you to select and eat what you like in the dining hall; however, due to governmental health regulations, the removal of food, glassware, utensils, and china is not permitted without the express permission of the Director of Dining Services. The Health Department requires shirt and shoes to be worn in the dining facilities at all times.
