The meal specifications at North Central College were designed with balanced nutrition in mind, but it is the student's responsibility to choose items which facilitate a healthy diet according to their individual needs. Daily menus are reviewed by the joint food service committee and will feature the following as a minimum:

For a change of pace, we have lots of "extra specials" that provide an exciting collection of regularly scheduled theme meals and dining attractions. These entertaining surprises come complete with creative menus, and enthusiastic staff. For spur of the moment fun and excitement, additional surprise mini-themes will be offered throughout the year.

No time to eat? Arrangements for a Sack Lunch or Dinner due to class or work conflict may be made in advance through the Food Service Director.

All Balanced Choice resipes are made with a fresh flavor profile, enhanced by using herbs, vegetable stocks, and other seasonings. This approach to recipe development creates menu selections that are tastefully reduced in fat, or calories, or sodium, or cholesterol.
