A Word from the Director...

Welcome to Chartwells' Web site at North Central College.

Here you will find all your questions answered concerning dining services, from who we are, meal plan options, hours of service, to how you book a catering.

First of all, who we are...Chartwells is the College and University Dining Service Division of Compass Group, U.S.A. We currently provide services to over 450 Colleges and Universities across the United States.

At North Central College, we provide you with three meal plan options that will compliment anyone's schedule.

Kaufman Dining Hall offers a wide variety of menus. At breakfast you will have a choice of eggs to order including an omelet bar, cereals, fresh fruit, breakfast juices, pastries, and bagels.

Lunch and dinner are highlighted by either a choice of fresh made pizza, and entree's made to your specifications, or a dessert made to order which will satisfy any sweet tooth. Lunch offers a choice of entrees including a vegetarian option, two soups, chili, vegetable, self serve salad bar, deli bar, vegetables, and desserts including ice cream.

The Cage offers a large variety of full meals and sweet, savory, or salty snack's on the go. Open from 10:00am till midnight Monday through Thursday and Friday's 10:00am till 3:00pm, you can treat yourself to breakfast to order all day long, your choice of pre made salads and sandwiches, variety of pizzas, soups, hot entree specials, premium desserts, and beverages. This is complimented by our full line of hot grill choices.

The Rolland Center is our newest renovated building on campus. It is packed with historic value on campus as well as with more of your favorites, featuring our very own "Starbucks" We Proudly Brew Program. Open seven days per week till midnight the Rolland Center not only provides that jolt of morning coffee it also houses our Campus/Community Convenience Store. The Convenience Store offers grab and go, salads and sandwiches, a variety of bottled beverages, candy bars, canned soups, fair trade coffee, cereal, chips, etc.

Our management philosophy is very simple and straight forward... if we can do it, we will do it. Each operation has a manager and appropriate support staff that listens to the needs of students and then meets those needs.

With over 100years of management experience on campus, we look forward to every challenge and request. Our door is always open.
